Placement Procedures

Staffing Helpers knows that safe staffing cannot be measured by numbers alone so we employ several safeguards to guarantee our employees are adequately skilled and credentialed.

Staffing Helpers attempts to obtain clear and detailed order information from clients whenever they refer a need. The more information we have about the staffing requirements, the more successful a placement we can enact. Our staffing managers will ask not only about the skills, the equipment, the experience and the duties required but also about the tone, nature and dynamics of the department and your staff. Our goal in doing so is to match a person who possesses both the skill and the personality that will fit well with your staff.

The steps we take after receiving a job order and signed contract are:

  1. Once an order is placed and a contract is signed, we begin reviewing our scheduling. We call and provide a status update of availability within 24 hours and attempt to remain in daily contact with the facility until the order is successfully filled.
  2. When an appropriate candidate for the facility's opening is selected, we fax a clinical profile including documents like: license, malpractice insurance, and physical. If this candidate's background meets your approval, the clinician is scheduled either for an interviewed or for the shift and a confirmation of assignment is faxed for signature.
  3. Service Checks: During the period of time Staffing Helpers someone working in the facility, periodic telephone calls are made to monitor performance and satisfaction. A call is initiated on the first day of the assignment to confirm arrival and acceptability. Finally a service critique is mailed upon completion of the placement enabling clients to provide feedback about our service.
