You will need to complete an application. You will be asked to provide a complete work history as well as preference for shift, facility type, patient population and geographical limits. You will need to produce proof of your current professional certifications, licenses and registrations and other pre-employments documents like, physical examination and immunization records, continuing educations credits, references and personal identification documents.
What is my employment status with Staffing Helpers?
Staffing Helpers employs its clinical staff. Upon hiring, you will be required to complete a W-4 withholding form indicating your desired tax deductions. We will make these deductions as well as deduct any other mandated employment taxes on your behalf from your weekly pay. As an employee, you are entitled to worker's compensation insurance and malpractice insurance coverage through Staffing Helpers.
What happens if I am not interested in the position being offered?
This is no problem, you can accept and/or decline any position at any time for any reason. However, if you are not interested in the position offered, we ask you to tell us why and to let us know what type of position would interest you, so we can make the best placements for you.
What if I am working on an assignment and I decide it is not right for me?
Staffing Helpers works diligently to make sure that your assignment is a good fit, however, in rare instances things may not work out as you anticipated. If this is the case, you must first call our office and speak to our staffing personnel. We will call the client and address your concerns, if no satisfactory resolution is achieved we will move you from the assignment as soon as possible.
How long will it take to be placed on an assignment?
This can vary depending upon your background, experience and desires. Placements can be made more quickly if you are flexible as to patient population, location and schedule. But whatever your needs, Staffing Helpers is committed to getting you an assignment as soon as your registration process is completed.
What kind of opportunities does Staffing Helpers provide?
Staffing Helpers provides various opportunities with different client types. You determine if you want per diem, long term contract, temp to perm or permanent placement choices. And you can change your status throughout your employment with us. Per diem may best meet your needs this month, but a long term contract assignment may be better for you in the next. Just stay in close contact with our staffing coordinators and let them know what you want for your next placement and we will work to deliver this to you.
Can I refer my friends?
Absolutely. In fact many of our clinicians are word-of-mouth referrals. We value these relationships greatly and we reward you for your loyalty and confidence in us.
